doubtful. Isnt he in Brazil? I will literally be shocked if this is a 50 million deal. A. because 50 million is ludicrous for the player and B. because it just looks like PSG sticking 2 fingers up to FFP.
So they are saying 40 million. Seems a bit more 'sensible'. Good business for us if true. He was clearly not in Jose's long term plans and the money can be re-invested into a player we really need. I'm still championing a move for Fabregas myself if he is surplus at Barca. Someone with his talent on the ball in the middle of the park would do wonders for us.

For £40mil you should bite their hand off. Amazing bit of business if you manage to get that amount for Luiz. Never rated him, yeah he's had some very good games - but he's always a disaster waiting to happen. Fair play if you pull this off
I still think he is a top player, just not a Premier League player. Given more space to play the ball in the Euro leagues he will be dynamite. His ability to play through balls from the back will be hugely beneficial to PSG, who have a more attacking style than us.

I think he'd be a great signing, your midfield is lacking a little quality, with the sale of Mata. Fabregas would definitely fill that gap. If you got him and Costa you'd be a big force next season
I am having a medical at Citroen, my motor has a fault, it doesn't seem to operate as it is told, like when I put it in reverse it carries on forward and conversely when requested to move forward somehow misfires. The thing will not respond to my requests as it were. On the other hand when it is functioning as it should it's one of the best in its price range. However, there are models out there that do a better job, for the task that I need and are much cheaper to run whilst offering a better reliability. I am thinking of trading it in for a new one and still have money in my pocket. BMW have a sale on at the moment, but that might frighten the neighbours, so it looks like it's a Spanish Seat, or Home grown.....oh ****....Dont really want a Toyota/Nissan/Honda.
Don't totally agree, Luiz is not unsuited to the PL, just unsuited to the sideways and backward passing Team we have become. We have no strikers to utilise his through passes, no defenders with enough pace to keep up with him, yet our "solid as a rock" players get all the praise and Luiz the brickbats. With a decent creative attacking team he will be special. The best football we played all season was when we went at City with Luiz and Matic superb in midfield. That's why PSG and Barca value him so much more than us. Interesting that it's the creative players that Jose is getting rid of. Who's next, Hazard or Oscar?? Hope this doesn't mean another season of watching paint dry.
Even Jose has had a flair player or two in his team. Robben, Cole, Sneijder, Ronaldo, Ozil. Selling Luiz to PSG hopefully guarantees they can't come in for Hazard or Oscar now. Also been reading rumours this morning that we are looking at Pogba and Koke as Luiz replacements.
