And what about the shabby attempt to cover it up Luis?

Suddenly all remorseful now when he was lying about Chiellini bumping into his teeth in the days after the incident. The guy is such a ****er. Surely no one will be fooled by his crocodile tears?

The only way it wont happen again is if he isnt on the pitch. The dude has something wrong with him and he will do it again if the stress levels or whatever causes it occur again.

Can't for the life of me think why the goofy faced, feral **** has completely changed his self pitying stance & apologised.

"I lost my balance, making my body unstable and falling on top of my opponent. At that moment I hit my face against the player leaving a small bruise on my cheek and a strong pain in my teeth. Iin no way did it happen how you have described, as a bite or intent to bite"

"Barcelona remain keen on signing Liverpool's Luis Suarez despite his four-month ban from all football-related activity, but reports claim the La Liga club want the striker to publically apologise for biting Giorgio Chiellini."

"Independent from the fallout and the contradicting declarations that have surfaced during these past days, all of which have been without the intention of interfering with the good performance of my national team, the truth is that my colleague Giorgio Chiellini suffered the physical result of a bite in the collusion he suffered with me. I deeply regret what occurred. I apologise to Gieogio Chiellini and the entire football family. I vow to the public that there will never be another incident like this"

He should have stuck to his original story.

It's not like there was any evidence against him.

I read a stat somewhere that since 2010 he's been banned for 49 games, despite never receiving a red card.

What else can he do.? He has made everyone connected with Uruguay look stupid since the bite. At least he has finally accepted the obvious.

He's accepted nothing, he's only issued that statement because Barca said they wouldn't sign him unless he did.

Barca's Chief Exec has come out and called him humble.

From what I've been told he's very humble off the pitch and well respected by those that's meet him.

    Fair do's.

Reckon he'll know how to eat humble pie then.

    What OLM said.

What a pathetic excuse for an apology.
