A punter in Australia put the equivalent of a £6.25 bet on yesterday's Melbourne Cup to predict the first 4 horses in correct order He got the second and fourth the wrong way round. There was then a Stewards Enquiry into the finish. The Stewards found that the second horse had impeded the fourth and reversed the placings. The punter picked up £400k. Cheers lads In terms of the OP, for those that don't follow horse racing - it was far more likely that the Stewards would completely disqualify the second (placing it last) or promote the third to second. Either of these would have ****ed the guy's bet. Instead they decided that the fourth would have finished second without the interference ... nobody has yet checked DNA samples of the punter and the Stewards.
But this pussy gave me two wonderful children that have truly enriched my life. I feel that I am blessed.
