Went in to work this morning and one of the lads. a Sunderland supporter, hands me a 1972 cup final programme. Says he was having a clear out when he visited his folks and would i like it!! I'm right chuffed. It will be framed and erected, in the corner of my dining room in Gloucester, that is and will always be, hallowed Stoke ground.
Jowler, As you say lucky day! Mine, I wish I had had it with me when I had the likes of Jackie Marsh, Mickey Pejic, Mike Bernard, Jimmy Greenhoff, Willie Stevenson, George Eastham & Terry Conroy in the Waddington suite last March against Norwich. If only I had known they were going to be there! I would have got it signed by them all!
