skynews on tv saying we are talking to Anderlecht for a season loan deal for lucas biglia.
defensive midfielder and he looks good i watched some videos of him.

just what we need. Mohammed Abdellaoue Norwegian tv says he is on way to norwich.and Alexander Tettey. news aswell on skysports we are going to make a bid for nzonzi but i don't think we will get him as they want 10 million and if we do get lucas biglia we are not allowed anymore loans

Was touted as a possible replcement for Song at Arsenal and Rel Madrid were once intrested in him...yes please! If he stays fit, he could be the final piece of the jigsaw!

It must be true, as even the Archant Rag is reporting this on their 'back page'.

i think its fair to say that if we were to get him on loan, which would be an unbelievable coup, it would be solely for the loan deal because there is no way we'd ever be able to keep a player of that quality long term. i'd like to see him AND n'zonzi signed if possible. people might moan about buying 'more' midfielders but its the midfield where we have our most problems. protecting the back four will be important and if we are more secure and able to keep the ball better in the middle of the park our attacking game will also improve knowing they can play their natural game. signing one holding player is imperative; signing two would be best of all <ok>

If this comes to fruition, it doesn't augur well for David Fox.

Has he signed a new contract yet?

Just read the piece in the Pinkun about this.

Apparently he had said that European football was essential to him, so I wonder why he is coming to us. I assume the reason must be that he wants to show potential suitors (MU, Arsenal, Liverpool) what he can do. If so, that should be good news for us.

Wow, this season is getting so hard to call with so many teams having all these new players and even the 'smaller' clubs making what seem like exciting signings or loans.

why would a club want to loan out their captain? seems a weird deal really, looks a really good player but i just can't understand why a club would loan out their captain, sell yes, but not loan!

i too don't really understand that.

just spoke to a friend at arsenal and they seemed apoplectic that he wouldn't be going to the emirates as a replacement for song and said, and i quote, "what the **** would he go to norwich for?"

Very excited at this potential signing and nzonzi too would be great although I think we will get priced out unless their Indian owners jump at a bit of cash.

A loan for Guidetti would just finish off the window for me perfectly tbh. Don't think loans from overseas effect the 2 uk loans?

It looks like we have reacted very quickly to last week's debacle and we are being linked with real quality. That is encouraging and a tribute to Hughton and the club as a whole.

As much as I would love to see Biglia come in on Loan I still just don't see us being able to make it happen. I find it hard to even see how we are linked with him.

It would be a real coup though......

According to SSN we are currently trying to agree personal terms with him with the clubs having agreed terms. Looking good!

it would be a marque signing in my book. Would also love to get N'Zonzi here as well but that might just be too high a price. Could be an intertesting next few days before the window shuts.

Plus if Vaughan goes then there could be another forward in the pipeline given that we will have two out and only Chris Martin back in.

With Biglia/Garrido/Bassong on board and the prospect of more to come I am starting to feel a bit more confident (not that having Snodgrass and Butterfield wasn't already a boost - I think the jury's out on Turner and Whittaker but if they come good we will be looking pretty decent)

I'm in your camp at the moment. I desperately want it to happen, but it just seems a bit too good to be true! I'll beleive it when I see him holding a shirt
