Just a little update, this lad has scored 11 and set up 8 for Vitesse. Cracking stuff. Van Aanholt hasn't been too shabby either. I've always liked the look of these two, I really hope they can keep pushing the development further into their careers and come back to us ready to play. Reckon PVA has a better chance of appearing on the scene next season though with Coles position unsure.

Mentioned these 2 a week or so back and completely agree with you, they both look the business. Just wish a few of these kids would get a chance with the squad, but we just seem to buy them, lend them and move them on. With Jose, they have 2 chances ,**** all and none.

Ideal scenario with PVA is we sell Cole and get Luke Shaw with Ryan Bertrand going the other way. Then we would have two lung-busting left backs that Jose may fancy(he certainly is not a fan of the two we have now) and another plus is Shaw and PVA would have an extremely lower wage than Cole and Bertrand, and in my opinion without decreasing the quality of our left backs.

Piazon is playing brilliantly but there is no room for him at the moment. Look at De Bruyne, brilliant out on loan last year, gets a chance to try to break into the first team but it is a lot tougher to get proper chances when your battling the likes of Eden Hazard, Juan Mata and Oscar plus multi million pound signings like Schurrle or Willian.

Another name to add to these two, Thorgan Hazard, having another brilliant year with Zulte Waregem

To be fair to Jose, blooding youngsters hasn't exactly been our forte in recent years; the last time we threw kids in at the deep end was back in the mid 70's when we had no choice and the last time our youth system worked wonders was with "Docherty's little diamonds". Besides TSO prefers to take players off the peg - our youth system is for show only where we fatten them up and send them off to market.

Trouble is players like Matic slip away. We need to try them before we sell them.
