I believe the best he could hope for in the Mickey Mouse league would be about 4 grand (quid) so surely we could offer him a better deal. Not every-body's cuppa tea but is a solid right/centre back with a couple of seasons left in him (imo) and could do a good job for us (especially at that price). Harry Kewell is rumoured to be making an announcement at the end of this week and unconfirmed word has it that he could accept one of the lucrative offers he has had from Australian A-League Clubs.
He could of gone to West Ham or Liverpool, he chose West Ham as they offered him more money, not Liverppol for CL football and although a remote chance knowing Liverpool, but still a chance of winning something!
