Don't agree with this he's done well In pre season and deserves at least a place on the bench. At this rate he will be another promising player slipping threw are fingers.
I agree but I also think this is a good decision. Its only 1 month. DC wont put him ahead of Easter, Taylor, Harrison or Blissett. 2 of those will start and the other 2 on the bench. Lucas wont get much game time so allowing him out for a month keeps him match fit and hopefully scoring too. Who knows in a months time he could be back and starting games as Easter still has to prove his fitness and both Taylor and Harrison got knocks recently in pre season games. How are they doing now? In a moths time, hopefully they are all great but if 1 isnt, then Lucas will be ready and match sharp.
Good decision to get him really sharp. Hopefully he'll do well and hit the ground running when he returns.
Jamie scored today, and praised by Boreham Wood's manager: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33744687
With the service our strikers got yesterday Jamie Lucas wouldn't have scored either, apart from Taylor latching on to a poor headed back pass and Harrison not converting his chance there wasn't a lot created for the front two. Our inability to pass the ball along the floor and turning their CBs didn't give Easter and Taylor that many goal scoring opportunities. One corner in a match in the 92nd minute tells its own story. Yes Taylor should have put his chance in having done all the hard work but as a team we didn't perform
