Heard on Talksport news that Lucas was available to play this weekend. If so he is back earlier than expected....or they could be reporting s***e again
But hopefully won't be involved, certainly not starting! I reckon I could just about tolerate him playing in injury time only, no pun intended
BR needs to be more careful with him this time I'd rather give him a few more weeks and cope without him if it means he stays fit for second half of the season.
From LFC Website: Considering the highlighted bits, I doubt very much he will be involved at the weekend in any capacity
Weekend? Feck that, play him on Thursday, don't worry about easing him in I just think it's to soon, I'd rather have him fit for the rest of the season than rush him back for an extra couple of games for him to get further injured
I hope we aren't rushing him back. He looked off the pace against West Brom and it was obvious that he shouldn't have started against City. Would rather save him for the spuds
God I hope we go easy on him for a while. But he doesn't strike me as the type who knows how to take it easy...
We need him bad but we must not burn him out or chuck him in the deep end like Arsenal/England have done with Wilshire.
If he's fot for Spurs, that would be the wrong game to bring him back in anyway. Few weeks should do it.
I'm sure someone on here mentioned that Lucas would be back before November but I can't remember who? Perhaps my mind is playing tricks on me again. Never mind. Good news to have him back I won't expect him to be starting any games until Early-Mid December. Would like to see him in the reserves and Europa League.
22nd Nov - Home to Young Boys = too soon 25th Nov - Away to Swansea = too soon 28th Nov - Away to Tottenham = too soon 1st Dec - Home to Southampton = week and half away, maybe? 6th Dec - Away to Udinese = this game onwards he will hopefully start.
