My gut feel was he was a little like his brother in that he was always going to have promise but not quite able to make the big step up when it mattered.
Good luck to the lad though.

Wasn't all that impressed with what I saw tbh. Ferguson wipes the floor with him.

Probably this, would rather he had a six month loan then came back to show what he can do tho.

Good luck to him if he is going. Liked him. Shame we are letting him go, sure he will turn into a decent player!

Yeah I guess. We have so many midfield players though, I just dont think he'd play much of a role at all and he probably realised that himself.

I don't understand why he's so eager to avoid battling for a place in a huge Premier League club to sign on with Brighton in the Championship...

Oh well. Whatever floats his boat.

Is it deffo permanent? Would have liked to have loaned him one more time, but not too bothered if we got a couple of million for him

Yeah I'll probably have to agree. Vuckic is on borrowed time too. I've seen very little of what's been promised and he's at the age where he should be stepping up now. If he doesn't make a breakthrough this season either here or on loan then we may as well get rid.

If he's so desperate to join them he must feel somewhat out of his depth.

Nowt against the lad though good luck to him.

Fair play, wish him well...Don't think he's good enough to play a major part in the 'new' Newcastle United!

As someone else said, he's got nout on Ferguson!

Brighton are a good team who just had a blip when they got relegated. They should be a solid CCC team, who will be looking for promotion in a few years time. Either that or he will be signed by a larger club (Forest, Reading etc.) after he shows what he can do. Or he turns out to be nothing more than a League 1 player and so stays there, so there would be no point him staying here.

Good luck to him, he wouldn't have gotten into the team here, so has probably made the correct career choice.

Shame as I'd like to have seen him have a proper chance after gaining a bit of experience at Brighton last season.
