    Stoke away was never going to be a good game for Lovenkrands, I like him but if we are going to play him, save it for the games he's more suited to than this, where he is unable to contribute anything.

    To be fair to him he did lose a boot to give us something to talk about. After his last game at SJP I'm surprised he was even considered for the starting line up. Very poor indeed!

    Seems a bit harsh, but whatever he used to have, he has NOTHING at all now. The last 2 games he has been non-existent, start Ranger ffs, if failing that then Kuqi, cannot be any worse then Lovenkrands.

    I couldn't believe that Lovenkrands was starting against Stoke. I mean for ****'s sake Pardew , just common sense! A little breeze can blow Lovenkrands to the ground and you let him face Shawcross and Huth?

    Wrong system for him to play in. Was never going to get anywhere against Stoke. You cant blame the guy for playing, you got to question the managers decision for that. Granted, I think Ranger would have been better to start but then again, Lovenkrands or Kuqi aren't exactly subs that will make a difference to a game but at least the strength would have been there. I think you have to question the tactics, he does nothing cause he gets given nothing. I remember in the first half he made a good run but Shola didnt think about slipping him through... I think if we are to play lovenkrands, we need to take advantage of his pace and off the ball runs rather than hoofing it up to Shola/Best and hoping for the best.

    I think if we make it to the end of the season in the prem, this problem of everyone calling for Lovenkrands dead will go, I highly rate the guy but its not fair on him that hes got this expectation in a team that should, by rights, still have Andy Carroll and another striker that should support him. We got to do with what we got, he's not going to go away if you bitch and moan but get behind him anyway.

    (By rights, we may not be here without him last season)

    Totally agree he is awful.

    Tim Krul to start in goal vs Wolves and Forster to be number one next season.
