Lovenkrands to stay, Shola to **** off

  1. I'm sorry but there is nothing Shola possesses that should allow him to stay.

People that make the "he's a physical presence" argument need to ****ing get a reality check.

Lua Lua is 5ft 7 and Ameobi is 6ft 3 and Lua Lua won more in the air than Shola did today.

Lovenkrands could have scored alot more if he had a better partner, and if Shola had made the pass vs Blackpool, we would have won that game and Lover would have finished with 1 more goal than Shola in the season.

Lover is a good player playing with a good partner, but he gets no help upfront with Shola there.

Shola has scored 6. 2 pens, 1 unmissable tap in that he deserved to credit for. He never tries outside the derby games and gets dominated easily by any set of CB's outside the bottom six.

Loven has been unlucky this season, and has tried extremely hard and defines the word grafter. He works well with the team and could reach the 8/10 goals mark working with a better partner.

Best and Lover are a good pair upfront, Shola ****s things up for not only his parnter but the team that work their arse off to support him, but the **** can't bother his arse to run 98% of the time.

I kind of like the Carlton Cole idea now. Give West Ham a straight swap, and see how Cole does with a good team behind him. He's had his ****test season in his life, and scored as much as Shola.

I couldn't give a **** about his record against the Mackems. Nolan has got 4 in 2 derby games, we can manage without Shola.

Shola, there's a part of me that will always love you for the derby days you've changed, but you're a lazy bastard that doesn't deserve the shirt. I don't even care about you having the touch of a rapist, or being slow as ****, it's your lack of interest and effort that is a disgrace, and you're only still here because Stoke saw how **** you were and told us to **** off, and i can't say i blame them.

You can't get away with being lazy just because you have no competition for your place, and i hope Pardew goes to ****ing spec savers and realises how **** you really are. Good luck playing at Leyton Orient, or any other team that is **** enough to need you.

I hate to say we all know that Lovenkrands will be the one who leaves, should be Shola, but hey thats Newcastle for you.

  3. It'll be sad to see Lover go if he does. He doesn't deserve the boot at all. Shola has done everything to deserve the sack.

Hope Lover stays, actually quite underrated. The sentimental value of Shola is seriously wearing off, but I cant see who'd buy him.

  5. Agreed.

Also to be fair, Shola can do well with a CC team. 10 goals in the CC season. He just gets over worked by PL defenses and gives up after a few short sprints.

Zzzzz. Tomorrow you'll be going on about how much of a legend he is.
We've just finished a season that exceeded everyone's (except a deluded few) expectations, just enjoy the moment for ****s sake.

  7. I've had a few sarcastic jokes about Shola being an epic legend but i've never thought he was a real legend. He's not loyal, he's **** and has been extremely lucky not to get sold.

I was reading something the other day about the kit promotion thing and Lovenkrands said something along the lines of, "I can't wait to wear the kit next season"...hopefully that means he does stay!

For all the 'Sholas ****e' I still don't see what Lovenkrands has done that makes him any better, he found his level in Scotland when he still had some pace, with the additional fact that like Shola he can't last 90 minutes so we waste at least one substitution every game. Regardless of anything both will be backup at best next season anyway, so who cares?

Also, Lualua was ****ing clueless. I know he's a youngster, but he's so kick and run its unbelievable. Would work in the Championship (sure Brighton might like him back) but nowhere near good enough for the Premier League.

I'll sell them both if I'm honest. Both would be Championship regulars but squad players for most PL clubs. <ok>

I wouldnt sell anyone. Our squad is already threadbare so theres no point (unless its Smith, he's just a waste of wages)

I agree with everything you've said

I thought that the Lovenkrands / Best partnership was amazing when they were played together. They compliment each other very well, both know how to finish with any part of their body, and would rather look to play a clever ball in the final third than go it alone (Obviously taking good goal-scoring opportunities when they arise)

Pardew won't let Shola or Lover go. The only striker I see him selling is Kuqi, and thats due to the running out of his contract. Lover and Shola will be demoted to squad players. (4th and 5th choice most likely) what with rumours of 2 strikers flying around. Best should always be above them in pecking order though

Am I the only one who hopes both **** off and we replace them with better players? Both are ****ing woeful, and just because Lovenkrands scored today doesnt mean hes good enough. Jesus.

Well said. Especially about Lua Lua, headless chicken if ever I saw one. Nowhere near the composure of Ferguson.

I thank you. Both of you. Just wish I hadn't put the swears in, I've filtered them out for worry of properly reading a Tash article so my own post looks daft...
