Pompey fan in peace. Watching the Liverpool v Arsenal match on TV, he looks a bit to good for England in the World Cup. Not to mention, he is the leading Premiership goal scorer in a season where he was banned for multiple games at the start. So here is the Conundrum.................... Should our English Premier League players give him a good kicking before the finals to ensure he does not play against us, or just wind him up a bit and get him to bite someone's arm and get banned for a while? Any thoughts on this suggestion guys?
I'm amazed that no one has tried to snap him yet tbh. He'd be missing a leg if he'd have been around in the 80's
Why dont you ask our board? You were lucky to get 1 response off this board. You also spelt the legends name wrong
I think he's on some kind of medication at the moment, he just doesn't react so giving him a kicking would be Engerlands best option.
It's true: he'll tear us a new one in Brazil! I'm scared for the England defense, If I'm honest. A draw v Uruguay would be a good result but I still think they'll beat us.
Depressing but true, Sky. As long as LFC get none of its players injured in the process, England getting tonked won't bother me as much. I'll cheer on Luis and our other players if England get knocked out.
Uruguay's defence is **** though, get at them with pace They had to get to World Cups via a playoff too but that was out of the South American qualifying obviously so was hard
Did you not see the Liverpool v Hull game/? Every game, with the connivance of referees, some **** is trying to kick lumps out of suarez. The fact that he's made of rubber and never seems to get injured (touch Everton's modern stadium) gets him through.
If/when we get knocked out, I'll be cheering Uruguay. Imagine the boost it would have on Suarez to come back with a world cup winners medal Or even Brazil (if Coutinho and Lucas get picked?)
==== Are you taking the P!55. you would cheer on another nation if/when England get knocked out of the world cup? I dont understand how patriotism works......but I wont ask you to explain it to me ;-)
I'm hardly going to go out and buy a Uruguayan or Brazilian top, learn the language, and stick flags to my car and eat burritos and tacos for the rest of the world cup. I simply meant I would be watching those teams hoping they do well, if Suarez comes back a world cup winner - not only will his confidence be through the roof, our bank balance could suddenly be through the roof too!
