has extended his loan deal until the end of the season. I think this is excellent news for the team, he is the best defender we have and we have looked much more organised since he came in

he looks fantastic and could be a real prospect for the future. he looks natural at the back and is really good at bringing the ball out of defence

I've seen him four times now. Very good performances against Rochdale and Tranmere but has had some dodgy moments against Brentford and Yeovil. He has been caught in possession a few times, which may be partly down to not being used to looking up and seeing no one moving into space. Hopefully he'll learn not to hold on to it too long in that situation. On the whole looks a great prospect and hopefully both he and Wycombe will benefit from the loan.

His confidence seems to be low at the moment. He had a nightmare at Scunthorpe and for some reason hasn't got over it!

I also noticed he's been on the bench a lot. Any one know why, if he's so good?

I still think that he will turn out to be a decent Premier League defender, but at the moment he's too lightweight and inexperienced for a relegation scrap. He's good on the ball and when a striker is running at him not many get past, but he is easily out-muscled when dealing with the inevitable long ball you will face in league one. He'd have got murdered on Saturday against the physical and long-ball tactics of Stevenage, whereas our own youngster, Anthony Stewart, came in and did a great job. I don't see Laing getting used much for the rest of the season unless we have injuries/suspensions. His time will come but he needs to grow and also get on the weights in the gym!

    Ok thanks lads

If he is not getting games and league one does not suit him, I would rather he came home and was given a couple of games in the top flight now that we dont have any thing to play for might help his development more if that happened.

By the way good luck hope you stay up
