Just walked through the City centre and it's 'awash' with green and white.
All very noisy, drunk but friendly so far.
As I'm typing away, there are about a dozen fans drinking and singing
in the X Bells 'beer garden', just waiting for them to trash the place!!

Saw a group of them earlier heading up the road towards the forum. Very loud, great support!

According to Twitter staff at the Compleat Angler are having to clear up broken glass and blood and having to endure chants of "we hate England"

    <doh>

edit - The Police have emptied the Compleat Angler, so the Celtic fans are smashing up Prince of Wales Road.

Uh oh, the one time I went into Compleat Angler I thought we were going to get bottled haha. Being from Northampton and with all my brothers and sisters it was only my old man who had the right accent. Haha wasn't too bad in there to be fair.

IF this is true, then it's yet another reason to tell them to **** off when they bang on about joining the EPL !

There's a fair few Jocks (or should I say Micks), in The Boundary PH evidently although so far I haven't heard of any trouble.

The Boundary used to be my local. Have they still got those wonky pool tables?

The next piece of news is rather more disturbing. The EDL are apparently attacking Celtic fans in Norwich.<doh>

as was the case last time celtic came to norwich, their fans have caused no end of damage throughout the city, including to some of themselves, the muppets. i'll never understand why we've invited them back again

Aye, this is what im hearing no doubt its been inflated x1000 but the EDL are definitely looking for it and i know there's a few CSC down by your place too so it always seemed likely to kick off

(Long time reader first time poster...)

I didn't see any sign of EDL activity, happily however there was a bunch of Celtic fans with a smash fascism banner!

    Fantastic bunch of fans.

i would like to refresh my view which i posted earlier yesterday evening. it seems i witnessed an isolated incident of trouble and this stirred memories of the troublesome match in the 90s where problems were widespread. i did celtic fans an injustice as over the course of the evening they did their club proud so i'm more than happy to backtrack on what i posted above about not wanting them back again.

and i've got gers blood in me, so its not easy for me to say that! <ok>

It was a great evening for Adam Drury, and the Celtic fans contributed to a fantastic atmosphere, they deserve some credit for that!

Looks like Beefs friendly thread has turned into a slanging match between Celtic and Rangers fans! Although I don't understand half of what they're talking about!
