I really am beginning to be lost for words
Over just how impressive this team,
Of Lambert and all of his brave yellow birds
So far, this campaign, have been

And though up at Anfield we did ride our luck
Up there any bit is allowed,
And after conceding, the way that we stuck
To our task, should make us all proud

The heart and the spirit we showed once again
From Ruddy, through midfield, to Holt,
Should not really surprise us, knowing these men
But still, it sometimes gives a jolt

And talking of Holt, our new super sub
To score on his one hundredth game,
And such a cracker too, for our good club
Will keep him firmly in the frame

And on second half alone, I´d say the draw
    We earned, was fair overall,
Chances they might have had, but couldn´t score
While we made more use of the ball

Without singling any out for special praise
I´ve never seen Wes run as much,
And fight for the cause, as up there yesterday
While not losing his golden touch

And a real bonus, as we stood firm at the end
Was Ruddy, who got in the way,
Of all they could throw, on him we can depend
He´s getting better by the day

But this was a collective point that we made
And is almost as good as a win,
For Anfield, of all those games to be played
Is where 3 points tend to stay in. OTBC

    Have a great week all,

    Yours,
