The financial accounts of Bristol City's parent company, Bristol City Holdings Limited, for the year ended June 2024 show a pre-tax loss of £3.3m.

All down to Nigel Pearson and then they treated him like trash.

I liked Nige and I think the way he was treated was terrible.
However, I don’t think the manager is responsible for the finances. Whether that be Nige, LJ, Deano or Manning.
The manager has to work with what he’s given. Nige did well under the constraints of the regime but the other managers had to work with what they are fed by the suits too.

Exactly, yet some on here can’t/wont apply that to every manager.

NP's brief was simple... we are in the **** need to get rid of a lot of players replace with freebies or academy ... and so he slightly knee jerked got rid of what he thought was no good in after 13 disasterous match's and chucked along for a couple seasons with at least 2 if not 3 health issues and sort of steadied the ship before running out of contract and time [ healthwise ]

people always will have their own ideas about managers knee jerks or just pure distains or ............
