Merely responding to that twat above. The team who finishes top always deserve to do so, but that doesn't make it any less heartbreaking.
What's wrong with being bankrolled by an oil rich billionaire who has lived in luxry whilst the rest of his country lives in abject poverty?
The two teams faced each other in what ulitmately decided the title, it came down to team against team, if united won at the zanzibaar or even drew it would have been enough. The title was decided there as noone's dropped points since
Yes it does. We use hard work, effort, youth system and everything thats right about the game to win titles, as did Liverpool, Arsenal and others. Feels so much better than winning the league the chelsea and city way. Especially funny as City fans were the biggest advocates of the United buy the league' bullshit fans spout. Feels bad losing the league to a team who are well above their station, but the same as when Blackburn did it or Chelsea. Leeds and Arsenal hurt a ****load more though.
Where did Chelsea finish this season? Best hope you win the CL hadnt you or things are going to get really interesting. Chance Roman may cut his losses if you **** it up.
You might want to brush up on your geography, UAE nationals are very well looked after, I can tell you that they are very far from living in abject poverty. Low paid foreign workers live in what you may class as poverty, but they are there by choice and make more money than they do in their home country.
I'm not a united or City fan but would quite liked to have see united win it as upsets on the last day are always funny. Anfield 26 May 1989 - the night that every right thinking football fan in England nearly died of laughter
