Buckle bangs on and on and on about changing the 'losing 'mentality' at the club.
What does he mean???
I understand 'losing habit' but I don't understand 'losing mentality'.
Does he mean that the players go out expecting to lose?
I wouldn't say that Campbell, Anthony and Sawyer (he brought in all the rest)
have a 'losing mentality'.
And he pointedly always says 'at the club'. Frankly if I worked at the club
I'd be pi**ed off at these constant snipes.
If I worked in the offices like him and her and him and her I'd resent being
told I had a losing mentality. It would help if Buckle took time to meet them!
For all the negative comments I've made I believe that Higgs is working
his socks off to get a new stadium. The directors may be comfortably off
but they are not mega-rich.
I'm reliably informed that they have kept the club afloat.
And the fans don't have a losing mentality....that's why there's boos when
we don't perform!!!!!!!!!!
So stop knocking the whole club by saying there's a losing mentality.
Perhaps people are just pi**ed off 'cos we're losing...and that's different!

The guy is a complete knob. He doesn’t help himself mind, keep blurting out **** like he does. I wanna give him my full support, along with the squad of players he has assembled but the guy is making it hard for himself and for any fan to like him and get behind him. He is a complete helmet <grr>

He has all of the attributes of a coach. Arrogant, self opinionated, self believer.........
I worked with an international coach on a world cup tournament in Australia (not football, but faster). My pal the senior coach was in the mould. Never failed to say exactly how he felt about everything. The press loved him at the after match sessions.
eg. We had an english umpire turn up for a match having flown from the UK to arrive the morning of our game in the afternoon which was played in a temperature of 40degC. The ump made some crucial decisions which seriously affected the result. Our man said it exactly as it was. The press loved it. After match reviews proved he was right in all details, but the International body still waved their finger at him.
So Mr Buckle must learn that we love the outspoken man (who will always support his players), but for G.d's sake make sure you have your facts right and aim your criticisms at the right people.

Exactly Sapphire, if he directs his frustrations at us, the fans, it will not help his cause though. He needs us on his side more than anyone else otherwise it will be a long hard season for him
