Byron Anthony has been released by Hereford after signing for them on non-contract terms and then getting sent off, triggering a three match ban.

I used to quite like Byron, but, like Rovers, he's not really developed to his full potential over the past couple of years.

Could he still do a job for us?

No, I liked Byron. He gave his all and played for the shirt. I like that <ok>

However, he is prone to the odd error every game and either scores an own goal, gets sent off, or give the ball directly to the striker who inevitably goes onto score against us. I’m afraid he just aint quite got it. Maybe a decent back up player to cover seeing as we have a lot of injuries but once they are all fit, he wouldn’t get a game.

Perhaps he could come here and Virgo could go there in a straight swap?? Anything to get rid of Virgo! <grr>

Yes indeed Chris - Virgo has turned out to be a liability. I thought that he might have been a good acquisition but how wrong was I!

    Where's this bloody striker?!!
