Who of you out there in the big wide world is fed up of hearing about loopholes and people, business' and organisations looking for or finding loopholes in the law. It is starting to grate on me a bit and now the QPR are looking for ways to get their bad boy over his suspension quicker! It really is starting to tick me off. Anyone else getting annoyed or am I too sensitive? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18971248
Your not the only one. His twelve match ban should mean just that. It should stop him playing for any team during that period, other wise any player that gets a ban could just be loaned out to another team.
it's bollox. A ban is a ban whether Prem League or Sunday league. besides, Barton is scum imo. If he does play for Fleetwood, I hope some old school League 2 hatchet man ends his career.
The point is not that he can play for a lower league team. He can be loaned to a lower league team and sit out a 12 game ban meaning 12 of their games, in about 6 weeks where as if he stays with QPR he will probably have to wait 10 -12 weeks for 12 games to pass. so he goes to a lower league team on loan and as soon as he has missed 12 games for them he can go back to QPR on recall of loan player, and play. Mind you if the league or FA found out that QPR were paying another club to take him on loan there may be penalites given to them that make it not worth the risk.
their attitude is 'the loophole is there so why not exploit it'. well fine, its just it makes a complete mockery of the process the FA would have gone through in order to sanction him with a 12 match ban. the right thing would be to take the 12 games on the chin and get on with things....
I believe the English FA will deal with this quickly because it's related to Barton. Having said that a ban is a ban. It's in black and white so live by the sword blad de blah... Ticks me off big time.
What would be the benifit to a club like fleetwood to have an overpaid knob in the dressing room for a 12 game ban just for him to be recalled once its searved without even kicking a ball for the team??? I dont see what fleetwood for e.g would get out of this type of move anyway!
A simple solution would be to say you cannot play until your contracted club has played twelve competitive matches. Or in Bartons' case ban him for a season.
ccfcrt0p, Swamp is correct, read my previous post. Fmay on face of it be paying for a loan player but somewhere they will be getting something out of it from QPR, you can bet your life. As I say, if it goes ahead and then the league or the FA discover exectly what that something is they'll bury QPR. I think they're playing a very dangerous game.
