500+ already sold and more to follow lets make it a home game fellow reds.
Surely the rest will sell first game away, and starting brightly with all the new signings playing well.

Alternatively stay away making a statement football belongs in its community not with parasites.

Too many will go but not selling out already says many city fans have taken a decision based on the wider picture. Game in Coventry would be thousand sold now. CIty played Northampton first day years back (2-0 city) and fans were buying tickets in their end as the game sold out three weeks before the start.

Any game as Sixfields is hard to get enthusiastic about.

    Dead fixture now.

Save the money money for better days on the road.

Extracts from fellow city fans on other forums who are going Sunday-

As said we support Bristol City FC and there is three points up for grabs-

    That would be good.

Bugger the Coventry "protest" such as it is, support your team, not some other outfit.

Pathetic that some of our "support" will boycott the game due to "fans united" and would rather support Coventry.

Well, there are probably 20 who support the Coventry stance and thats a very liberal estimate.

This is fast becoming one of the worst, most irritating campaigns I've heard of.
It sounds toe like Cov fans can't be bothered to protest about the real issues and some conveniently pre arranged charity game is being used as an excuse not to bother making their voices heard either in or outside Sixfields.

What may have started as a an anti sisu protest just appears to turn into a reason for their "boys" to kick off (from behind the safety of the advertising boards and other people, obviously!)

IMO the best protest by far would be OUTSIDE Sixfields on Sunday. This charity game is totally unrelated to the protest subject.

Many Bristol City fans boycotting this game?

I'm guessing you're basing your point on a dozen on here not wanting to go???

The coaches cancelled, the empty trains, the total lack of discussions In pubs, nobody offering spaces on vans = hundreds.

This game should have sold out already.

    Reason?

Rogue owners taking over a club and displacing it.

not going is support for Coventry, the game is a game of football and our team needs your support, no one knows what the result will be it happens on the day, if we all went and lost then that is a fair result, as would be a draw! even a win..

however if fewer went, or none at all and we lost then it is like shooting ourselves in the foot with a .45 magnum, a draw or win could be less than sweet but

    but 1 OR 3 P O I N T S

Not going is support for football, and City. Every penny into the rogue owners pockets encourages them.

Empty stands = Not here , not anywhere.

There will be a game now where the "displaced" support as it were will go instead free from from the grubby spectacle that will be CCFC v BCFC. Don't agree with it, don't feed it.

Football here is in the state it is because of its fans as well. Apathy lets the FA, Fl, EPL behave like they do.

Sorry football in in the state it is because of the indolence of its customers - fans. Only in England does TV and foreign ownership rule. Only in England are fans so passive.

Running your tongue over their anus and savouring the aroma, only encourages them further.

Exactly the sort of attitude which is associated with the big five, or four. **** everybody else. It keeps club's and football down.

The uber fans are missing a trick here.

Time to chuck in the word LOYAL.

Adolph Hitler could have taken over Coventry and moved them away but " Hey ho, let's go ..!"

the question here is does your "Coventry fan go to any away games? more important does he/did he go to Coventry every week to support his team...

..we have about 8000+ fans that don't do away games...and probably treble that support but never go to a game.... I am a follower of Man U and Darlington but never go.........

I am gutted for their fans, but i will support my team as i see fit, does not make me any better or any worse for doing it.

But i want to see us back in the championship under SOD playing his way with his team.

The difference already is huge on last season and the seasons before escapades.
