Looks like they're planning to nab Harry sooner than we thought!

I think it will be a difficult time for Spurs when Harry goes. He took them from bottom of the league and in real danger of relegation that season to champions league football.
I think his style of man management has galvanised a group of players who were in some disarray - and that's exactly what the England team have needed for years.
Not sure who they could bring in next - Rafa maybe? MON? or maybe someone like Owen Coyle from Bolton?

Rafa? Please no. We all saw the effect he had on inter Millan. MON? Maybe. I think he could do a good job, especially if he had funds. Owen Coyle? Hmmm perhaps. I like what he did at Bolton last season.

I'm thinking Hiddink would be a good move. I'd prefer him over Ancelotti I think, who seems to be a favourite amongst fans.

It's hard to assess Hiddink and Ancelotti's effect in the Prem as the chavs, true to form, were so quick to dispense with them both.
I think both are good really coaches.

Spurs seem to be a club that need a 'old fashioned' English manager though

Are you his ****ing PR man? No need to remind us, he mentions it atleast twice in every interview :D

My first choice would be Moyes, I just don't think Ancelloti or Hiddink are realistic.

It'd be a daft decision from the FA, though. They've left it far too late to change manager before the Euros.

They'd only take Redknapp after Capello's gone, although they may approach him and convince him to take the job before that.
He wouldn't start until after the Euros, though he may get a shot at managing the GB Olympic side, in my opinion.

Who would we replace him with?
As others have already said Moyes, who must be sick of having to do it without any cash at Everton or Ancelotti, who I'm not sure is available til the summer anyway, would be the prime candidates.
I guess Poyet's doing his reputation a lot of good at Brighton too, though it would probably be a little early for him.

Paul Lambert would be a good choice for me, but like Poyet it might be a bit early.

Let Harry go to England for the Euro's. England will flop and then he'll be sacked and back in time for our 2012/13 season.

Ancelotti would be good - foreign but very experienced, his teams always play good football and speaks english.
    Hiddink - same as Ancelotti
Martin O'Neill - took Villa to top 6 3 times in a row, would suit Spurs I think.
Rafa Benitez - won CL with an average Liverpool side, came close to winning the PL and highly respected, again speaks English. Not known for flowing football though.

Personally, I don't think it will happen. If Crapello gets us through qualifying, then I think they'll have to stick with him. If it does happen, as much as I would like to see Ancelotti, or Hiddinck at WHL, the wages situstion will probably, once again, be a sticking point. I have always rated O'Neill as a manager; however, I'm not sure that he and Levy would be a great mix.

I'd rather not have Benitez or O'Neill, as I think they're both quite negative.

Like everything with Spurs, it's what we can afford - not what we'd really like. For me, O'Neill would be one of the best options in our price range.

O'Neill overspent and underachieved at Villa, though.
Their wage bill was pretty high, yet he couldn't break into the top 5.

An England manager needs to be tactically astute, when do you think the powers will recognise this basic requirement.

Spurs will need a man manager and a good tactician if you can't find this in one man employ two.

MON is notorious for wanting total control over the team too, which you might argue is correct.
I'm not sure Levy would afford him that, he's certainly never done before.

    Coyle / Poyet combo anyone?

Poyet's established himself as a manager now Piskie, so I doubt he'd consider dropping back to being anything else now.
Coyle has done well at Bolton so far and I'm sure that they'll push up the table, after having a fairly tough fixture list so far.

Still the best manager they've had in many a year.

True but considering what they spent, especially on wages, they should've done at least as well as they did.
His style of football was pretty dire too, for me.

I still believe that he's brought success to every club he's managed. Unfortunately, as I said, I don't think he and Levy would get on.
