    I think we all do mate. I like to look on it like wanting a magners but getting a strongbow instead, still more than does the job and leaves you feeling happy!!!

    At last some good news, either Cissohko or Pieters would do me fine as they are both good LBs. The majority seem to prefer Cissohko but if Pieters is cheaper then hopefully it will mean a few more million will be spent on a striker.

    I just wish the Cissokho thing had never been mentioned to be honest. Its like being invited back by the most stunning girl, only to be told you can only watch someone else smash her back doors in! Nevermind I think we were all pleased when Pieters was mentioned originally. Good reputation and better than what I expected.

    Great news if it comes off, I'd be very happy for us to get Pieters, especially after hearing that weird spine thing with Cissokho.

    That's how I felt, we've still pulled a nice lass though, in this metaphor. Cissokho's spine thing was a bit unsettling as well.

    Just about to say the same thing, apparently to do with an uneven spine meaning he get's fatigued a lot easier. All of a sudden I changed my preference to Pieters after that and like others have mentioned he's a Dutch international ffs!

    He had a medical at Milan before they signed Taiwo and it makes him fatigue a lot quicker than is natural and could mean he has to retire younger than expected. Not something that can be fixed either.

    Exactly. People would rather have a once capped LB with spinal issues over an almost nailed on LB for the Dutch team currently ranked top in the world. Baffling.
