Why the hell would MON want to even look at a 30 year old has been who hasn't played since last May?

Can't see anything about it on the Sunderland board or on Sky.

Sounds a bit fishy to me.

Ach well not to worry, if he does'nt get offered a deal at Sunderland (that's assuming he is even going to Sunderland and that this is not just another Goebbel's like piece of propoganda by Shifty Whyte) i'm sure the Teddies are just about desperate enough to accept his slap in the face and forgive and forget.

Martin O'Neil would steal the eye out of your head if he thought it would give Sunderland an advantage.
Sunderland like many of the EPL bottom half clubs have over spent. That fool Bruce brought in nearly
20 players in the summer and their is no money in the kitty unless they can off load some players. Now
we at Celtic know how hard it is to get players in, but Christ almighty that is nothing like how difficult
it is to move players on. Martin has loads of players he doesn't want, neither does anyone else either.
Hence he is looking at freebie's and hoping to pick some one useful up.

Come off it man. Have you seen the bloke's scoring record? He's absolute mince. Why would MON take him on trial? I was pissing myself at the thought of him in the SPL but the EPL?

Stereo you don't sign a player on the basis of his scoring record. If you did it would make scouting ever so easy, just check the statistics charts.
There would be no need to employ scouts, go to matches or take players on trail.
Have you seen that man play or you basing his ability by the goals he has scored.

I think the most amazing thing is why the hell Martin o'Neil took the manager's job at Sunderland ? It just beggars belief, Martin likes to spend money
he did it at Celtic and when the money ran out, he was out, the same at Villa, the dogs in the street knew there could be no money left at Sunderland after Bruce's summer spending. Yet why did O' Neil take over ? Was he that desperate ? Now he is I think we would all agree not picking from the better tree. Doesn't make sense

    the super hooper

    1. When you're a striker your goal scoring record is quite important.

    2. His last team was in Cyprus and they didn't give him a new contract.

    3. He hasn't played a competitive game since last May.

There are times when you don't need to see a player play to know he isn't up to the job. The fact that he's the sort of player Rangers are in the market for confirms that he's ****e.

Satan based on the evidence you have given I agree he would be an asset to Rangers and nobody else. Now again why the hell did Martin O'Neil join Sunderland who were and are broke.
