A cording to talk sport...... Sunderland had a recent bid for Croatia international Ivan Strinic rejected, according to the player's agent. The north-east club were strongly tipped to land the defender last summer but he stayed at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. Strinic, 25, moved to the Ukrainian side from his hometown club Hajduk Split in 2011. He could be on his way out of Dnipro in the summer - but his representative Tonci Martic feels it is unlikely he'll be heading to the Stadium of Light. "We received a concrete proposal from Sunderland, but Dnipro rejected the deal," he told Tuttomercatoweb. "With regards to Dinamo Moscow, there have been no formal negotiations but maybe something will change in the summer."
