Why do people here consider him to be anything more then half decent - all he can do is run around and look busy whilst actually doing bugger all.

He is basically Yuki Abe with better hair - is not good enough for us and hasn't been for a long while.

^lets be honest, at the end of last season there were times when he was single-handedly carrying the team.

I remember times when he was running around like he was carrying the team but actually only chasing the ball after he lost possession.

Never rated him - only use is as a pure attacking midfielder which is a position we don't have in our team.

My major problem with Danns is inconsistency. Yes, there were times when he was running around and throwing himself into challenges like Savage at his best, but there were times when he was a passenger too, far more that King ever is/was. But the straw(s) that appears to have broken the camel's back are his his wages and attitude. We have better here now and on less money too, so he can go for me.

It hurts me to say it because another NPC team will pick up a fine player, but I think his time is up.

    He's 30, too.

He did carry us the back end of last season, though.

He is a good player. Not amazing but we will not attract an awful lot better calibre of player whilst in the championship.

How come our players are either the best in the world or the worst why can we not be more patient and understanding as fans, manager and club as a whole.

    Examples.

waghorn steve Howard, Lloyd dyer, Andy king, Matty Fryatt, Richie Wellens, jack Hobbs, Paul Gallagher, Neil Danns. The list is endless. In my eyes all the above are good players and so long as they have the support of management and the fans they can perform well.

The merry go round of managers and needless tinkering and chopping and changing of players and our fickle fans have all contributed but at the end of the day that's why we haven't been promoted in the last two seasons. It's also why I feel we have more of a chance this time round.
