looks a player

Mandzukic looks a good player, and looking on wiki (I know not the best information site) says he's a free agent, anyone know much about him?

 

Plays in the german league for Wolfsburg and I also think he would be a good signing, would be perfect to lead the line.

2players who we have been linked with that I aint so keen on is the Ireland and Wolves left back Ward, has been absolutely rubbish tonight just like he was for Wolves, offers nothing going forward and is an average defender so I hope this one does not materialize. The other is McGeady, to much of a stop start player, gets the ball runs then he stops, drops the shoulder knocks it a couple of yards and tries to beat the defender. IMO that aint the type of player we need, we need a Hoilett, Johnson, Moses or N'Zogbia who get the ball and run at the defence, square them up and leave them for dead either side.

 

Mandzukic has never impressed me when I've seen him in the Bundesliga, but he has been superb tonight.

Gonna keep an eye on him in the next 2 games.

Dario Srna is brilliant and always has been, I know he'll be on crazy money in Ukraine, but I'd love us to try and snaffle him.

 

I agree with you poolie, ward we shouldn't go anywhere near him and mcgeady isn't the pacey type that we need also think he'll be too rich for us in terms of wages.

Dario Srna is class! As you say will be on crazy money, the sort of full back we should be looking at, he is an outstanding defender but offers so much going forward

he paid for 920 orphans to go and watch a Shakhtar game, a top bloke, he might be loaded but that would of cost him money that he could of kept for himself, wouldn't mean as much to him but for the kids they would be absolutely buzzing.

 

You think it would cost a Shaktar player much to put some kids in empty seats at a Shaktar game?

It's a nice gesture, for sure, but I doubt it cost him more than a days wage!

I have always pronounced it Schnar but they were pronouncing it serna
