Hi Gasheads Post some of the good (not so good but funny),hilarious and heartwarming things that happened to us referees or our football team during the game, weekend, so we can to take into the next game believing it will be better. Here goes nothing Rovers directors issued View attachment 27047 free to all season ticket holders on Saturday before the game, if you missed out then you can collect them from the supporters shop at the ground on matchdays only one pair per fan. I wore mine all game and thought we were fantastic Spare a thought for our noisy neighbours there directors concerned about the backlash following defeat on Saturday have sent out the following free book to all season ticket holders just to help them cope bless em. whilst we lost a goal in the 82nd min they conceded a penalty in the 90th and promply lost the game dropped to the foot of league 1.....how long will O'Driscoll last? View attachment 27050 time for you CJS to set up a thread. Positives from the game our two new loanees both appear to have what it takes Alex Henshaw, looks fast skillful and if we had a decent striker in the box we would be putting away his crosses and winning games. Will Packwood strong willing not totally match fit, saying that he had a lot to cope with in his first 90mins, can only get better, well done Ward and the team for bringing in these two bright young players We are out of the relegation spots ....just but that is a pos Just need a striker now! COR
I still fail to understand why Brubnt, Harrold, Richards and Harrison can't find the back of the net. Sure, strikers go in and out of form - but all of them being crap simultaneously!!!???
Harrold has scored 2 in 6 games, and all of those were either bit part games, or he was still unfit.....otherwise I agree.... I am upset about Richards as I thought he would get somewhere this year! Hopefully he comes back from his injury and scores more goals....saying that, no one feeds him any chances anyway so I doubt it
CG Hope you are right about Harrold again it will take him 3 or 4 games to regain match fitness,Richards has blown hot and cold maybe in fairness to him its due to him not playing consistently in one position but he appears on the face of it to have had quite a few chances. BB no decent service means that you are always forcing the issue picking up the ball deeper than you want perhaps as you say that is the reason for the lack of goals from these four players (Brunt, Harrold, Richards and Harrison ) In part the concern maybe the tactics and formation applied by the coaching staff at times the midfield and defence seem to play as if they are one wall of players so the strikers are adrift by miles. On the positive side Bristol City head coach Sean O'Driscoll told BBC Radio Bristol: "We've been pretty consistent, we just haven't been getting consistent results. Does that mean consistently bad Sean? "The longer it goes on, it becomes untenable for everybody - players as well as supporters and coaching staff. Are you really saying its time to go Sean ? "We're all in it together and everyone is trying to front up. Up to your necks In the S***E eh Sean "We're not looking to blame anybody. We want to look at the things we can do better." Everything by the looks of it Sean and we know its not your fault Sounds as if he is not only on the rack but has had enough Untenable is a strong word for a manager to use. Glad we are not in the same position as City oops just noticed that we are View attachment 27096 COR View attachment 27095
