Although I expected us to get something out of todays game and I am gutted we lost...lets keep an optimistic view on the future.

As O'Neill watched these players today, he must realise what he has to work with now..and it ain't that good. That said, we have a manager that is capable of getting the maximum from average players and making decent players better. His legendary motivational skills will be tested to the limit with this group, but I really think we have a manager who will do this. We saw today some players who are just not up to the task..and it will be interesting just what team MON puts put against Blackburn. Any of those left out will surely be on borrowed time at Sunderland...I hope Bentner is one of them. His disgraceful laugh/smirk during the minute applause sickened me..I hope he never wears a Sunderland shirt again.

So another defeat...disappointing yes, but the revolution starts tomorrow, lets all get to the SOL for the next game and show MON we all behind him.

Was it just me chuffed to bits he was heading and kicking every ball when Sky panned on him. :p

I think we will see the animated MON of old, bouncing in his area.
