Played well, some good movement all over the park and was probably the best preseason game I have seen in a long while second half fizzled out a bit but the game was won
Not even joking. Lol Actually, rewind to the tail end of 22-23 season and most of us were pretty disappointed when he got injured. He'd been doing steadily well and had been helping us get positive results. Last season he was relatively poor overall, but from his own declaration he was playing through a painful injury all season. Might be another decent season for him this year, if the injury is fully healed now... In which case he'd be reasonable fifth choice backup behind Guimaraes, Joelinton, Tonali and Willock.
After his second goal, I was waiting for him to pull his shirt up to reveal a T Shirt with "**** You, Chaos" underneath ...
Jesus you guys... he's scored two tap ins he isn't lampard all of a sudden. My opinion hasn't changed.
No one said he was Lampard However he scored 8 goals last season whilst injured for 90% of it playing on an injury ravaged side with Almiron on his right attack and the massively declining Trippier right defence.
I saw the goals hardly impressive Like I said he isn't all of a sudden lampard my opinion hasn't changed so you keep whatever view you want. I don't dislike him but he won't be good enough moving forward.
Let's keep this simple. I don't think he's very good and the club will phase him out regardless of two goals in a pre season friendly.
