When the original 606 ended I signed up for this one then forgot all about it until a weird daydream earlier today. Used to love the 606 banter. How is the prediction league? My love for football and Cardiff is strong as ever but I chose not to renew my season ticket this year and I really do regret it. Financial reasons, Time constraints etc etc.. I still watch SSN for results, listen on the radio for the games etc etc but I don't feel like a fan the same as I used to. Learnt a good lesson this season and I will defo be getting a ST again next year. Have hardly seen us play this year either in comparison to previous seasons, being an armchair football fan is truely horrible! My dad still has his ST, says the side lacks the ability of previous years and its not as exciting, but we have become a "TEAM". It's no longer Bellamy is the leader, Bothroyd dives and rolls, Chopra's big ego etc etc its become a football team and pops claims we are much the better for it. ANYWAY. Fill me in on our chances this year. I saw us a few times on tele but apart from that I went to the Carling Cup games, 0-0 with Leicester and 1-3 v Brighton. Neither were great games to attend. I hear we are better than the games I have witnessed. HOW ARE YOU ALL ALSO? Had a nice scroll through the forum before posting, seeing some posters from years ago made me smile

Bluescull said he misses you for the liniment treatment this season - so much so the bugger's been pouting on here and keeping a low profile himself. Hello again Clingo - nice to have you back. Good onyer pal. There's a few not come across from CCFC 606 - perhaps they've just packed up with the demise of the Beeb forum. Must agree with the lack of wurzels on here being a great shame. I tried to stoke them up for weeks at the start of the season but only a few seemed interested. I thought that now our esteemed near neighbours have elevated themselves to the hieghts, a return to the cross channel banter would be good for the season. A lot of the old school wurzels 606ers seemed to have vanished altogether, but there are still a few good chatters like Natch and Wizey over there. I know it's not your style, but see what you can do to wind them up and I'll join in. In the meantime, it's nice to have another back on here who likes a laugh on this forum as well as the occasional moan. We can all talk football till the cows come home but it's great to indulge in a bit of "off the wall" chat now and again.

Trouble is, during the period of 606, I made some great friends on the BCFC board and being the delicate soul that I am, I'd hate to compromise that by starting a generic wind up - I live in mortal fear of being taken the wrong way. Pathetric isn't it? Having said that, if we could isolate OneTeam or Ashpit - then that would be different. Do you think my wurzle doctor is doping me? Oh for the days when I was young, looked like Ray Wilkins and didn't care what anyone thought of me!
Clingo - Oneteam and AshtipWeazel seem to have long gone. Amongst others I remembered well were Donnelly Yates, Turkey Twizzler, Weston Super Red, Bob_Bob_SuperBob and many more - all good for a wind up and laugh. "Thrusting in GJ" was a good theme at the time for us, whilst our then debt problems being at top of their agenda. It could get out of hand on occasions, but at least most of us could laugh at ourselves as well as taking the piss out of the other. There are few youngsters over there now such as BCFC Red and Shiney who seem OK, and banksy is the same old twat he always was. (banksy ) I've been pretty gentle on them and left them alone since their disastrous start to the season, but methinks with their recent improved form under McInnes, it may be time for some serious incursions........

Welcome back Kav...........I don't post much on here anymore it's a bit like my smoking............I'm down to about ten a day This site has become a no no in work now, so I can't get on in the day like I used to in the quieter times, Bluescull is about, but not very often, as is HT occasionally............the wurzzles are very quiet, and considering we've got the trees on Saturday, not a lot of them about........and with the new regime at the club tightening up "security" (rightly) the rumours have all but dried up.........we still manage to make our own fun though
