Now first off, i would like some views on Lonergan's performance, i have good feedback only to be honest but he has admitted mistake for the first goal and says he does not expect to start the next game as he was so poor, his words not mine Here is the link: http://www.reading.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=266183 Surely McCarthy won't be keeping Lonergan out of the team, Lonergan has only been excellent this season of what i have seen and the only mistake i have seen of his has been the very first goal we conceded this season against southampton. What do we think? Also, if anyone has any links for the game, that'd be great
I wasn't their but I think it takes some balls to say that. I like the honesty and i believe he should be given a decent run in the team... At the end of the day we still had 88 odd mins to score and from what has been written on yep etc we were gash from back to front... Praying this isn't another crap xmas for us...
Yea good point, I heard the goal was white/pugh's fault but it does take some balls in saying that. Also if we are not going to have McCarthy for long anyway, i think it would be good for Lonergan to be first choice
He made one mistake and one save thats all he had so don't know why everyone is making a big deal about this! Lonergan is a top keeper! Kissa n Lees stopped n let the striker have all the time in the world and the rest of the team where **** not really his fault
It was certainly not white or pugh fault, it was lees and paddy fault and then poor judgement by lonergan. He looked shaky saturday but got to play against derby, he's our keeper ffs Lees was shocking on saturday
Lees and White where terrible, White looked disinterested! says it all when Brown had his best game for us, Lonergan is class n i mean it wasn't a major mistake it still required a class finish! Rachubka and Kasper both let the ball in through there legs haha
Nah defences fault (mainly White) just left the ball, I thought it looked like it was going out but it seemed to almost just curl in at the last bounce stopping it to go out, letting the reading player get to it, I was pretty sure it was going out and was shocked when it didn't. Lonergan could of probably maybe got their if he was quick but it was unexpected. Whites fault, needs to sort himself out defensively or Grayson should keep him on the wing because when defending v Reading he was shocking.
your 'avin a laugh rite? I nearly die laughing every time I see Kasper's last couple of performances (Doncaster's first goal is my favourite, straight through his legs). Lonergan not your favourite fella eh?
Trust me, anyone could score from any range against Kevin Pressman EDIT; Can I just say that that's the worst commentary i've ever heard
Good, this reinforces what i heard before that it wasn't really his fault but he could've prevented it
HAHA Kasper has ****ed up a lot more for Leeds than Lonergan will ever, You are laughing at Lonners because of a debateable mistake even when Kasper let 1 through his legs (Basic goalkeeping error)
Just seen your comment. I'm surviving thanks, but any more performances like the one against Reading won't help.
Morning guys, must admit we look poor, i can only listen to the commentary of the matches, sometimes we are the chosen Championship match or i watch it on LUTV 24hrs after, and i think its a fair comment to say, this has been coming for a while, Reading put Snoddy in there pocket and closed Clayton down, hence no feed to the front runners, also what concerns me is, we do not know how to change things around, ok SG does do substitutes but i think its Snodin who calls the shots, as on saturday the guy down by the pitch reported to LUTV commentators that BECCHIO was on the paper of Snodin to come off not MACCA, and him and Grayson had words over it? dont know?? what you guys think????
I think that keogh and becchio upfront together in any situation is just ****ing stupid, it makes me wonder whether people realise what type of partnerships generally work.
