Does it get a bad rep? I reckon it does. Many of us are locked in our own cities, and forget about the vastnesss and huge population of the place. Oxford St. somedays 1/2 million visitors. That is more than the population of most of our cities. No wonder it's always in the news, it has about 1/8th of the countries population.
I like London. Wouldn’t want to live there. Nice place to visit. Food is good. Booze isn’t too bad if you stay out of poncey places.
**** hole. It's all stabby stabby and flinging acid about now. It's just been announced that its murder rate has took over NY for the first time. I won't go anywhere near the place.
But this is one thing that hacks me of about you lot. I try to get a thread going, kind of backing and understanding the troubles there, and it's instantly underminded by useless figures that no one can prove.
Then nothing changes, it's still the murder capital of the world and people are still flinging acid and sharpening their blades.
I’ve never seen any aggro in London. I’ve jumped in illegal taxis. Got lost in numerous places. Walked through Finsbury Park absolutely smashed out my face.
I live in London - always have and love it here. It probably does get a bad rep but it's the same as many other capital cities - knowing quite a few Irish people I would say we Londoners escape lightly compared to Dubliners!
I ain't been for years. Always had a blast. Also used to visited Finbury park, famous boozer place, fiddler or someit
