London Fixtures

Just realised it'll be 23rd September before we play a league game against a team from outside London.

There are 6 London teams in the Prem this year - I can't think of any other country where there are so many teams from one city in the top flight. In fact I'm struggling to come up with more than 3 for any other city. Anyone know better?

And yes, I'm a bit bored.....

 

Pathetic isn't it. Every bloody street in London is a town. Not like the indivisible Norfolk. We are stronger.

 

Hmm, the closest I can find is Istanbul, which has 5 top flight clubs in an 18 club top flight.

 

London is an attractive place for the rich owners it seems and that's what helps these clubs.

 

Certainly Al Fayed was trying to buy citizenship! Didn't work though!

 

Good spot DH - 5 out of 18 is pretty much equivalent to our 6 from 20 I guess.

 

Definitely a good shout! 27.77% of the Turkish top flight compared to 30% of the Premier League.
