Is that the fault of the council or the resident for not cancelling a standing order ?Residents still having rent deducted from their bank accounts.
Beggars belief.

It really emphasises the complete failure of the Council in the aftermath of this tragedy - a lack of action, foresight & empathy. Is that the fault of the council or the resident for not cancelling a standing order ?
If you read the statements from the local authorities in Wales, you will know it's far from luck, and the contrast with England is obvious to anyone with an ounce of intelligence. So clearly Scotland and Wales gave these Tower blocks far more safety measures than did England, and none of this garbage plastic panelling has been used on the Tower blocks, good for you to read the statements on Wales online, you will see it's nothing to do with luck or political point scoring.
Read that this morning - he advised them on what to say, and arguably more importantly, what Not to sayI was just reading an article in the Mail while having a capitalist coffee, the the person who signed the building off falsified the documentation to say the cladding was safe, he was in collusion with the council. His price for signing the building off 250,000. Greed, pure greed.
Do you think he's in the ****?Read that this morning - he advised them on what to say, and arguably more importantly, what Not to say
He's claiming he's just the small guy in this whole tragedy.Do you think he's in the ****?

Someone is in the ****, at the labour council.

Rob is spot on.Swansea Council leader Rob Stewart said it was “unacceptable” that panels which met British building regulations had failed the tests.
He called for urgent clarification from the Welsh Government on what action was needed, and it has emerged that the cladding may still be allowed to remain.
Still not satisfactory in my view......![]()
That was made clear at the beginning of this threadThe picture is becoming clearer, that both Labour and Tory councils do not give a damn about the safety of it's tenants in these tower blocks......![]()
