Historically, what is it about them that seems to cause us problems? The obvious response is that it's because they're better than us - but surely not all of them? We've already lost to two and another one's up for us tomorrow, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Palace to come.

Table wise, the three heavywieghts currently occupy three of the top 4 Champions league spots, with the other three struggling in the bottom 6 along with us. If I was Malky, I'd be looking for two of those to be below us come May.

Tomorrow's game more important in many ways than the home tie we lost against Spurs last week. So do we go for the point or go for the throat?

More of the same is the probably the preferred way, but that starting eleven Malky puts out will define it. Starting chances for both Odem and Noone would be too much to expect unless Malky was as pissed of with Fraizer as he sounded for not taking that chance going around Lloris last week.

Fraizer and Bellers on the bench with Odem up top and Noone out wide? Mutch in for Gunnar?

This is going to be very interesting.

I actually think give odem a start. see how gunnar does and bring mutch into the game 2nd half.

i'm still unsure of noone personally- whether he is good enough at this level. Happy however to be proven wrong.

I said to my wife before the season started that Noone would work in the PL because the goals he scores will go in against anyone.

First start against PL opponents and he smashes one in from 20 yards, Witts is the only other player in our squad who might even threaten to score from distance (could add Bellers but it's been a while!). Like most wingers he has days where it doesn't happen for him but when he is on his game he'll be able to make an impact.

Mutch could do it as well. He's had a some potshots in little game time he's had and been unlucky.

PO won't start after 90 mins in the week. I expect him to get 20 mins though.

Would like to see Bellamy get a shot at the left wing.

I think Gunnar looked tired second half last week, maybe give Mutch a start

Unusually, all six London Prem clubs are in action on the same day today. Which would you like to see win most?

West Ham - sorry Hull but our target is 4th bottom.

Saying that I think Norwich and Sunderland may join the Nigels in the bottom 3.

Well considered answer there and I agree that West Ham have looked good enough to stay safe. Just asking - any of the others come close?

I can't see the problem - I didn't think Southampton fans were like that.

Haha. First ever goal for us! I stand by missing him off my list.

If my day could have been improved I've just watched myself celebrating on motd!

Great call Sparks, did you have him in the prediction league though? Anyone can randomly throw goal scorers around on any old thread......
