Nobody on here though can answer why you need 500 million + what is the point of it, I detest that Bono bloke from u2 shouting get your hands in your pocket and all the fans doing it a half brick off his head would of been better.
Just wondering as he's always been quite vocal and forthright ... ... some of those put forward, for interviews, have been hopeless in front of a camera.
If I remember right last time he opened his mouth he dug such a large hole he hasn’t dared come out since, forget what it was but hopefully someone’s filled it in before he climbed out.
For the record, well at least mine, but at least based on fact and thorough analysis.... Greater Paris region (Ile de France): 12,070 sqkm; population 11.74 million - so population density 973 / sqkm Greater London catchment (inc home counties): 13,705 sq km; population 15.58 mn - so population density 1,137 / sq km. Not that much of a difference, but London catchment more densely packed over a slightly larger catchment area. Overall, the UK has an urban population of 83.6%; France 80.4%. Marginal.
The result of this pandemic just amplifies that. Savings have increased in the UK, but that is within the top income threshold. Mid to lower income households have burnt through savings or landed in even more debt trying to stay afloat. The upcoming application of higher taxes will be closely watched as to how it is applied 'fairly'.
Perhaps so, she always seems very close to lashing out over the most innocuous question ... ... reminds me of a girlfriend I once had
Totally agree, the answer does lie in the middle somewhere. That's exactly what I've been trying to say. The thing is, you could say that any system doesn't work unless you let it play out as the only system. And democracy doesn't allow that. All systems are flawed to some extent because people will always try to get round the system. Thatcher did say that, yes. Do you know the rest of the quote? It basically says that people should work hard to look after themselves and their families. I was brought up to believe that hardwork and self reliance were old fashioned working class values.
It's strange but those at the very bottom, as well as the very top, will benefit to some degree. Those on long term unemployment benefits will see little difference and, providing they lives within their means, will see this out. The bankers, financiers, drug companies, etc, will be raking it in. It's perhaps those in the middle, with big mortgages and expenses, who will struggle most.
how are the truck drivers going to get in do you expect Britain to test every one of the 9,000 a day, could they even do that many, how much would it cost , who's going to pay, you have a lot to think about, so if you let the truck drivers in without test doesn't it make the close the boarders void, note i haven't mentioned the trains or the boarder with Ireland, or the ferries to Norway
(all the all the western world are on private because the cost is prohibitive ) QUOTE i assumed that Australia was right of us on a map and for Australia all of us are in the Westen part
Why would you an I discuss the intricacies of a nation's entire logistical operation? Did we both just get rather large promotions? Neither you or I are marginally qualified to discuss that. We don't have the information one would need, to go into the ins and outs of it. Do you want a long and indepth while completely uninformed and misguided conversation? Because I'm bored of this abject rambling.
I agree. If both of us could spell the word "border" we would be a touch closer to being able to discuss border closures.
