In a way I agree - almost every philosophy or belief system is flawed by exceptions. Ok so why do they see unemployment as a tool that is good for business, why vote against free school meals, who vote for lower pay. The quote you quote put into the context of other things isn’t effective eg the wealthy will create wealth for others. The capitalist system created wealth trough completion at the expense of others. Sky tv are wealthy out of the pockets of many who can barely afford it. And why can’t you look after ‘each other’ rather than ‘me first then you’. If in your perception of driving ‘me first’ is never quite enough, the next man (or woman) never happens. It’s flawed.

I think any person who doesn’t advocate wealth distribution is a bit weird. Reece Mogg’s life hasn’t gone a certain way, he was born into a certain way and wants to maintain a certain way. Retain power influence and wealth. He’s exactly who shouldn’t be representing everyday people. Exactly who shouldn’t be given power.

I'd say we had a very slow start to the season, as the manger and his coaching staf failed to deploy appeopriate tactics.
We languished at the bottom of the league for a month, but our defence and midfield (NHS) kept us in games until Rishi got some attacking midfielders in (stimulus) during May and we progressed up the league.

Tactics to change up the midfield got us playing some nice footie in the summer (eat out, help out) , but a management failure in recognising our toughest games were to come and we'd need midfield reinforcements blew the game plan come October and we dropped back down the table.

Thankfully our multi-million pound strikeforce came to the rescue in the January window and is firing us back up the table to a top finish.

However, our keeper is shot to **** (border control) and needs replacing.

Meanwhile the stress on our defence has taken its toll under the strain of propping up the team and will require huge resources to rejuvinate and replace their excellent skills and keadership.

Our misfiled is bifurcating - only the attack-minded midfielders have been able to save energy (money) , while everyone else has been depleted.
They will have to be taxed for more to keep us in the upper echelons of the league.
Plus our striker will undoubtedly move on in a season or two, requiring new stimulus up top.

The games not over yet and questions need to be asked about the back handers for contracts to friends and relatives

I don't see why I should go out to work hard but have to think about that lazy prick, next door, who refuses to work but is happy getting pissed most nights in the house with his chav mates on their benefit money. Me and my family first and then I'll think about throwing some scraps over the fence.

I knew you would pick up on that aspect of that quote. I think the point of it is that you can't pull someone out of the quicksand if you're in the quicksand yourself.
I'm not sure they do advocate unemployment as a tool that's good for business. I haven't seen anything to support that. From a purely theoretical point of view I can see the purpose of voting against school meals and for lower pay (I'm not saying I agree with it, just that I can see the theoretical reasoning).
Consumerism is a problem with society, I agree. Many people believe they need unnecessary things that they can barely afford. The logical answer to that is, though, that no one compels them to pay for those things.
I agree, their system is flawed. But so is every other system. I'm not advocating it. I'm simply fighting against the myths and lies that are spoken about it and against the polarisation of our society that these myths and lies create.

I think you need the carrot of personal gain in order to have a functioning economy. Look at the way society went in places where wealth redistribution was implemented. If you said that pay scales were altered so that those who offer the most to society were on a par with the highest earners, I would agree with you.
So, because Rees-Mogg has money, his views aren't valid? In a democracy everyone's views are valid. And this is what I find difficult about the whole thing. Neither the left or the right, are willing to recognise what the other side has done well and only want to criticise and invalidate the views of what they see as the enemy. My argument is that the two sides aren't enemies and propagating that idea is dangerous. They are simply two different approaches to achieving the same goal- a functioning and prosperous society.

And that’s where the problem lies mate it’s the everyday man who voted him in, you would think it would be dead simple just don’t vote him in?

Nothing to do with what you were saying, just wondering why Rees-Mogg has been so conspicuously absent ...

... especially when some of the spokesmen we've seen have been so lame.

We've heard from the Prime Minister, home secretary, education secretary, health secretary. That all makes sense. No idea why Rees-Mogg should be put in front of the camera.

There's hundreds of Tory MP's, they can't all have a go.

Margaret Thatcher said "there is no such thing as society" though, and therein lies the problem. Extreme socialism (communism) does not work because people are greedy. Extreme capitalism (fascism) does not work because people are greedy. The answer lies in the middle somewhere. The fact that there are millions of people needing foodbanks in the 6th largest economy in the world proves that neo liberalism as practiced by the government of that particular country is not working.

1% of the world own roughly 50% of the world's wealth.

10% of the world own 85% of the world's wealth.

    The other 90% own 15%.

That to me is the problem.

I don't know your current situation but I don't think you're what I would consider part of the problem.

I don't think there is any problem with people working hard and doing well.

I think it's more the fact that much of the world's wealth is tied up as nothing more than zero's in bank accounts. Doing nothing but gathering interest and dust. Keeping the mega rich, mega rich, and the poor, poor.

When it could be out in the world moving us towards a better world.

I could be wrong though, just my take.
