Ajax are a team mostly composed of home spun players which outplayed you last night. Last season I described City a few times as a house of cards built on very shaky foundations and waiting to come tumbling down. Another billion won't help you at all. Ditch Mancini and get Pep in and you might stand a chance.

Thats the trouble with gathering an embarrassment of riches - sooner or later the team ethic goes out of the window. In the long run I think the FFP will be a good thing for City & Chelsea as it will force them to look seriously at their own resources rather panic-buying the latest hyped-up gallactigo. A prime example of the worst case scenario was Real when they harvested every superstar on the planet and after a brief successful period it all went southwards.
