If he scores 15+ this season and proves his commitment i see no reason to consider giving him the number 9 tbh.

I don't give two ****s about the local lad thing. It would be nice to have a local lad who's dedicated to the club, but it's very rare you get that sort of loyalty now.

exactly best has proven hes willing to fight for this club and is clearly passionate and a good scoring record i say give him the no 9 shirt to futher boost his confidence!

drool but on current form leon beast best > carroll

 

Spiderman's mask is allowed but he doesnt like wearing it, as you can imagine it smells pretty bad when he scores, and he often left it in the dressing room by accident.

 

It's easy to forget that Best is only 24/25. Him and Cabaye are our biggest attacking threats by a long way at the moment. Hopefully Ben Arfa (when fit) and Ba (starting to look sharper again) can add to that.
