Now that we have beaten kung flu and the lockdown is over, what are your favourite memories from the last 3 months? Mine are: Not standing outside my front door every Thursday at 8pm banging a saucepan with a wooden spoon Not watching Sophie Ellis Bextor and her kids dancing in their kitchen
1) Laughing at Boris when they carried him into intensive care. Get out of that with a fist bump and a soundbite you bullshitting clown 2) Saints going on a 3 month unbeaten run 3) Laughing at the Jocks for still being in lockdown - Jockdown, we should call it. 4) Not watching the news, not watching anything featuring celebrities trying to keep the nation’s spirits up, tuning the car radio into Classic FM because that’s the only radio station whose DJs weren’t forcing themselves to sound either extra cheerful or extra concerned and serious.
Appreciated craft beers and wine. Baking and cooking. Had to learn how to converse again with the wife.
Sank 7 different alcoholic beverages on a Wednesday day/night Started off on beers then; Costco margarita (totally recommend) Prosecco Port Gin Vodka Single Malt Damning indictment on the state of my alcoholism was I felt fine the next morning.
BTW Today is the last day for refund if you want give back your EURO 2020 tickets,I'm holding onto mine and see how it goes next year.
Done it already Michael £800 back in the business bank account. Only time I've been paid in 4 months, thanks UEFA
Queuing for shopping, fannies at 8 on a Thursday, kids being home 24/7. Reminded me how much I dislike them. Damn we’re still in it.
