Bristol Rovers: Coming to a Memorial Stadium near you - legendary Chelsea defender John Terry? A chance meeting or a pre-planned ploy to lure him to the Memorial Stadium? That's the question emerging this morning after Bristol Rovers owner Wael Al Qadi tweeted a friendly picture of himself alongside Chelsea legend John Terry. Out of contract and on the way out of Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, Terry gleefully smiled with the Jordanian banker at Thursday evening's BT Sport Industry Awards. Who knows if Al Qadi - a keen Chelsea supporter - had time to have an in-depth chat with former England skipper Terry, but it's always good to make contact with someone of his footballing pedigree. please log in to view this image
The chances of him joining us either in L1 or L2 is non existant. He can still easily walk into most Prem sides. He wouldnt drop out of the Prem unless if its abroad. I would be very surprised if he even dropped to championship level. I still think he could do a good job for England this summer As for this pic, Wael loves Chelsea and no doubt Terry is a legend at the club and Wael got the chance to meet him, course he will share this moment with the world as he is chuffed to bits. I presume this is from the post, who like to make up stories from nothing.
