Havn't you heard the results are skewed due to glory hunting students coming from the south and going to Mancheste Uni!
Doesn't really prove much, as it only tracks the tweets people send about clubs. So the vast number of people in Manchester tweeting about Utd could be all those millions of alleged City fans hidden under rocks in Manchester who are so bitter they have nothing better to do that tweet about us all day. The Rightmove survey provides much more valid proof, as they actually sampled the population and who people support. And surprise, surprise, there are more than three times as many Utd fans in Manchester as there are city fans. The dahn sarf thing simply comes from the fact that Utd are so much better supported than most of the London clubs - we have as many fans in London as Spurs, and more than Chelsea http://www.rightmove.co.uk/news/articles/rightmove-news/youre-supposed-to-be-at-home Hardly our fault that all those southern glory hunters can't find any glory to hunt down south...
