Toby tweeted "We march on", so he must love our cheesy catchphrase!

Funny how it got a lot less cheesy after about half a dozen games. I looked at it a couple of weeks ago and got quite a different reaction to it than I had before the first game of the season. Before I'd thought it was OK, but budged up hard against cheesy to the point of pushing it over. A couple of weeks ago I went a bit cheesy myself while I watched it. I realised it was meaning something to me again. I commented in a post about 'SFC having ambition' that I thought I had faith in the club and that I think I perhaps should have had more. It was probably that video that made me reassess my stance.

I'd be against a loan on the whole but can see how a move for someone like Donovan, Defoe, Depsey, Bradley or Cahill might help us if we get a couple of injuries in certain positions (and these players would be available and add experience whilst the MLS has a break during January and February). Other clubs have used this avenue well and bringing in someone like Donovan if, for example, Tadic got injured for a few weeks would mean that the first team would not be overly disrupted during this period and would add a bit of experience at a time of the season which will probably go a long way towards deciding where we might end the season.
