Good read up on the youngsters out on loan last season from Beardo.

It does also make a lot of sense why the U21's and U18's didn't do particularly well last year as they were missing 10 of the better players who were out gaining experiance at first team level at other clubs. Still piss poor though 4 wins from 22 for the U21's...

Yeah a decent read and good for the lads to gain experience - especially the likes of Arma.

The bigger worry for me is that we've had so few youngsters break into the first team - aside from purchases.

Going out on loan to lower league clubs or to Scotland is ok, but the reality is very few of those types of loanees make it in the top flight.

The benefit of relegation is that some 'might' get a decent chance in the first team, but it depends on what balance Rafa wants between youth and experience.
