No, I'm not a double glazing salesman. The Loan Window opens tomorrow and expect NP to start some proper wheeling and dealing. Should get a few in and out soon. Fingers crossed.
There are some good young players available I expect NP to make full use of our connections *Cough* Joyce *Cough* I wouldn't mind Gill from Man U if he is available highly rated CB not sure but think he is there current reserves captain, but maybe too inexperienced. Would like to see Pogba too.
There's a problem there! Any club that lends us a promising youngster, will do so on the assurance he plays. That isn't going to be the case with a CB loan, and we don't want to anger any such club......Cough, Cough....United....Cough, Cough!!
If they are only gonna be in the reserves at the big clubs they may be happy to see them out just to be around the first team frame
I don't actually expect to see us do much business in the loan window, a CB will probably top the list, possibly a keeper, possibly a midfielder. I don't think I need to say who I think the CB should be. If we are looking at a keeper, I'd be tempted to ignore the loans and sign Hahnemann until the end of the season. Barry Bannan would be a great addition in midfield, though as he has two PL appearances so far this season and he's in Villa's 25, I doubt he's available. He's a talented midfielder who can win a ball, directs things from central midfield, or can play on the wing, I think he would be a very handy addition.
Hahnemann, Kilgallon and a proper right winger until Cam gets back. Only man that comes to mind is Sanchez Watt of Arsenal, can't say I've seen much of him but he's supposed to have done pretty well at TWS last season.
Dont think we need a winger DaredtoDream ,think we will hold out now till Cam is back but I would like to see a hard case in centre midfield that goes through players and gets the team rallied up!
If we can read anything into the fact that Mr Pearson (N) has gone on record during the Summer stating that Neil Danns and Daniel Ayala were his priority signings. Obviously each of those are no-goes now, but I would infer from previous comments that those type of players will be on his loan shopping list more than any other........Danns is not a 'hard man' many are repeatedly calling for, and Ayala is more than adequate back up at CB
Barry Bannan now theres a player that could solve a few of our problems as i stated aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago lol Seems he may just fit into big ecks plans, which is a shame as hes been farmed out to the championship a couple of times, definatly need that creative midfielder whos actually going to unlock defences or make runs into the box after hes passed the ball. Cairney and Koren seem to stand and admire there passes too much for me instead of looking to be a return option. Will Kilgallon be allowed to leave now theyve released Ferdinand?
He's listed in their 25 man squad, but they're not short of centre back options, Turner, Brown, O'Shea, Nosworthy, Bramble etc.
Fair enough, he was also linked with Ipswich, but im sure he will be linked with many clubs, he's a cracking player. Did Boyata get in Man Citys 25man squad does anyone know?
I'm sure this has been asked before but I'd have missed it but is the kilgallon thing based on any insider knowledge or just someone you think would be an excellent signing? Of which I'd agree for what it's worth.
