Liverpool plauers whonwent on loan Giorgi Mamardashvili – Valencia Stefan Bajcetic – Las Palmas Ben Doak – Middlesbrough Jayden Danns – Sunderland Lewis Koumas – Stoke Luke Chambers – Wigan Owen Beck – Blackburn Kaide Gordon – Portsmouth Calvin Ramsay – Kilmarnock Nat Phillips – Derby Luca Stephenson – Dundee United Rhys Williams – Morecambe Dominic Corness – Gillingham Fabian Mrozek – Forest Green Rovers James Norris – Shelbourne FC
As of now most players are at the end of their loans Scanlon was badly injured by milwall Beck was rushed by Blackburn and really badly injured Stephenson played through double herni and finally went for surgery. The welfare officer would want to start blacklisting clubs. Bajcetic has done OK but only OK for last palmas. He's got minutes but is really playing a defensive sort of game so he would have to do a lot this preseason to impress slot as a ball playing 6. Danns was loaded as injured and Sunderland got no use out of him. Doak was injured at end of January and has not played since. Chambers was injured and has not played since. Gordon failed at Norwich and has now failed at Portsmouth with neater manager giving any real time. Koumas is the odd one. He's not exactly done much goal scoring or assisting for stoke but he's played but mostly off the bench so it's hard to have much impact on 20mins. If we get doak and bajectic into the squad for preseason imo thst will be that. I can't see either doing anything but being sold.
In the future when listing our players can you please not list Kaide Gordon directly over Calvin Ramsay? Thank you.
Proper mixed bag for those loaned out. Does seem that we struggle as most don’t have the physicality to play in the lower divisions where although a lot of clubs are more technical than hard to be, still need to be able to compete. When you compare our youth teams to those of Chelsea and city still miles behind. Definitely something the club should be looking to improve on.
They don't seem to be in any way physical. Theres so many injuries constantly. It's mad. And they dont happen just out in senior football. When they hit u21s there's so many long terms injuries I don't know what it is, but also there have been some where the loan clubs manager have risked the kid and crocked them.
