Lots of sideways and backwards. Really good goal.

    His technique seems good.

    Top finish, terrible penalty.

He always seemed like he had potential, hopefully a season of football and he'll come back and be a first teamer here.

Been impressed with Alberto so far on his loan. Really didnt see alot of him last year so will be interesting to see how he does in La Liga. if he carries on like this he good have a future with us or at the very least make us a tasty profit if he moves on.

Never understood the naysayers on Alberto. He's a young lad who's been labelled the new Xabi Alonso by the Spanish press, and Alonso has already said a few times that the boy has a great passing range (and this from the pass-master as well!).

He'll be a good player for us after a season or two on loan and I'll be following his loan spell with interest. <ok>

Brad Smith made his League debut for Swindon yesterday helping them to a 3-1 win.

Luis Alberto scored again midweek in Malaga's 5-1 win. (Dont know if he had any assists aswell)

He'll much more game time this year at Lille than he would have at us and at his age he need to play regularly. He'll only get better playing week in week out and we should benefit net year.

And the style of the French league is like a slightly lighter EPL. Good step to take.

He's on the bench, but will get plenty of game time this season that's for sure.

Surprise in that you expected him not to be in the squad??

Brighton are lacking attacking options at the moment after losing their CF and one of their wingers this window so probably why he's on there.

Brighton fans on Twitter are loving Texeira today. They say he had a great 26 minutes as a sub. Sounds like he'll be very much involved for them.
