SOUTH Korean left-back Yun Suk-Young has returned to Loftus Road following the end of his loan spell at Doncaster Rovers. The full-back was on loan at the Championship side until the end of December. However, an ankle injury hampered the middle of his spell with Paul Dickovâs side and he made just three appearances for Rovers during his time at the Keepmoat Stadium. Meanwhile, striker Tom Hitchcock faced up against Max Ehmer on New Yearâs Day when Crewe Alexandra hosted Carlisle United at Gresty Road. It was Hitchcockâs Crewe however who secured the bragging rights against centre-back Ehmer following their 2-1 win. Hitchcock played 85 minutes for The Alex before being substituted, whilst Ehmer managed the full 90 for the Cumbrians. Ehmer has now returned to Loftus Road following the conclusion of his two month loan spell. He made 11 appearances for the League One side. A waterlogged pitch at Stevenage kept three QPR players out of action on New Yearâs Day. A postponement at the Lamex Stadium meant Michael Doughty and Bruno Andrade were unable to face their QPR Under-21s teammate Michael Harriman against Gillingham. A new date for the match is yet to be confirmed. Hogan Ephraim served the first match of a three game ban following his red card for Peterborough United against Carlisle. In his absence the Posh suffered a 3-1 defeat at London Road against promotion rivals Brentford. Adel Taarabt played 69 minutes of Fulhamâs 2-1 win against West Ham United at Craven Cottage. The Moroccan was replaced by Darren Bent midway through the second half.
